Success Stories

Donna Leslie

Donna is constantly on the go. She is an independent person with interests that include playing violin, guitar and rowing. But when Donna took a tumble and injured her shoulder, she had to shut everything down. To help her prepare for surgery and ensure a smoother recovery after, she began physical therapy with Louie at our East Montgomery location. "It was a challenge to be so dependent on others and so limited," Donna said. "I remember the first time I was able to lift my arm and everything shifted after that." Fortunately for Donna, Louie was there every step of the way working with her to meet her goals. "I credit him for making this journey more than just PT exercises," she said. "He creates an individual experience through his connections with the patients."

Elaine Warren

Elaine had some post-surgical challenges, including numbness and weakness that made it difficult for her to shop or walk. She had a prescription for physical therapy and made an appointment to work with Physical Therapist Julie Moore at our East Montgomery center. "I was weak and hurting," Elaine said. "My therapist was very patient and understanding. She provided exercises for me to keep up with." With Julie's help, Elaine shared that her pain level is down and her functionality is back up. She is now able to lift and be independent with exercises.
